Houston police made arrests over the the last week. 

Anthony J. Jones, Jr., 21, of 402 Phelps St. in Houston, was arrested Jan. 4 by the Houston Police Department for having an active Texas County warrant on charges of driving while intoxicated – prior offender, driving while license revoked and operating a motor vehicle in a careless and imprudent manner.

After receiving information about the warrant, an officer arrested Jones at about 11:40 p.m. at a location he is known to frequent on Mill Street in Houston.

Jones was transported to the Texas County Jail, where he was unable to post a $100,000 bond.

The following are other matters dealt with last week by Houston police:

Jan. 2

–Michelle R. Bopp, 45, of 4990 Highway 95 in Mountain Grove, was issued a citation for failure to exhibit insurance identification card after a traffic stop on Ashley Lane at about 10:55 a.m.

An officer made the stop after observing expired tags on the gray Chevrolet Silverado Bopp was driving. After the officer made contact with Bopp, she told him she had no insurance on the vehicle.

Jan. 4

–Michael Suddeth, 21, of 413 Broadway St. in Houston, was issued a citation for driving without a license after a traffic stop on Holder Drive.

An officer made the stop after observing Suddeth driving a blue Dodge Caravan and knowing he didn’t have a license from previous contacts.

Jan. 5

–Scott L. Folsom, 24, of 310 Mill St. in Houston, was arrested at his residence for having an active Texas County warrant for receiving stolen property.

Folsom was taken to the Texas County Jail.
