The Houston Tigers lost a pair of games last week at the Mountain View Tournament.
On Thursday, Rodney Preheim scored a team-best 14 points in the Tigers’ 75-48 loss to Eminence. The following night, Curry Van Horn scored nine in a 73-32 defeat to state-ranked Licking.
“The last two games are hard to swallow,” HHS coach Tom Brown said. “I’m proud of our effort, but our offense has to improve for us to compete.”
Against Eminence, Jacob Kelley had nine points and Weston Walker had eight for the Tigers, who trailed 40-26 at the half. Devin Coulter led HHS with seven rebounds and Curry Van Horn had seven assists.
Houston fell to 2-10 overall.
