The Houston High School basketball teams each open district play Saturday at Cabool High School.
The Tigers (4-18), who were seeded eighth, face Willow Springs at noon in a play-in game.
The seventh-seeded Lady Tigers (9-14) play No. 2 Willow Springs at 4:30 p.m.
The Tigers, who lost 68-63 to Willow Springs on Jan. 13, dropped six consecutive games to end the regular season.
The Lady Tigers, who beat Laquey 51-41 in Monday’s regular-season finale have lost twice this year to Willow Springs. They were defeated 60-37 at home Dec. 19 and 30-22 in the Jan. 28 championship game of the Mansfield Invitational.
