A parole absconder was arrested late Thursday night in Texas County, authorities said.
Lamar D. Benton, 44, of West Plains, was wanted on a felony warrant from the Missouri Board of Probation and Parole, according to a report. He was also cited on charges of driving while revoked and failure to properly equipment a motor vehicle with two lighted headlamps.
Benton was taken to the Texas County Jail.
