The area chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation will hold its 13th banquet, auction and raffle on Friday, March 2.
The event begins at 5:30 p.m. with a meal served at 7:30 p.m. at the Intercounty Electric banquet hall on Maple Avenue in Licking.
Formed by Sybil and Joe Amelon in 1998, the chapter honors the late Nolan R. Hutcheson. The event has been held at various places across the county.
The organization’s purpose is to conserve wildlife and protect hunting heritage. Through partnerships with state, federal and provincial wildlife agencies, the NWTF and members help restore wild turkey populations throughout North America.
