Two Mountain Grove residents were seriously injured late Wednesday morning in a crash on Highway M about five miles north of Cabool.
Troopers with the Missouri State Highway Patrol said a northbound 2003 Ford skidded off the left side of the roadway, went airborne and struck a utility pole near Highway M and Dallas Lane.
The driver, Emmett R. Rector, 33, and a passenger, Tina M. Rector, 34, were flown by air ambulance to Mercy Hospital, Springfield.
Neither was wearing a seat belt, according to a report. The vehicle was totaled.
According to a report, Emmett Rector was arrested on charges of felony possession of methamphetamine and unlawful use of paraphernalia. He was released for medical treatment.
