Houston police were called to the TCMH emergency room after a patient fled.

N B Brown, 28, of 223 South St. in Houston, was issued a citation by the Houston Police Department for discharging a firearm within city limits after a Feb. 29 incident at his residence involving his 22-year-old girlfriend.

An officer was dispatched to the location at about 4:20 p.m. in reference to a domestic disturbance and a gunshot. Brown was cited for allegedly firing a 30-30 rifle to scare his girlfriend after the two had been involved in an argument.

The following are other matters recently dealt with by Houston police:

March 1

––Willis R. Davidson, 45, of 315 Chestnut St. in Houston, was arrested for having an active Wright County warrant for driving while intoxicated, aggravated offender.

An officer made the arrest following a traffic stop after observing the gold Ford Taurus Davidson was driving fail to signal. After the officer made contact, a routine computer check revealed the warrant. He was taken to the Texas County Jail where he was unable to post $10,000 cash-only bond.

March 2

––Kirk H. Pierce, 22, of 8289 U.S. 63 in Houston, was issued a citation for failing to stop at a posted stop sign after an officer observed the white Jeep Cherokee Pierce was driving travel through the intersection of Grand Avenue and Pine Street in Houston at about 9 p.m. without stopping.

March 6

––Brandon J. Brim, 30, of 1305 W. Crest Drive in Houston, was issued a citation for third-degree assault after allegedly assaulting a 43-year-old woman in a dispute over money.

March 9

––Hazel M. Post, 49, of 8205 Northview Lane, Lot 27 in Houston, was issued a citation for stealing under $500 after being caught attempting to shoplift eight cans of aerosol body spray from the Houston Walmart at about 2:30 p.m.

––Kristian D. Watson, 33, of 323 S. Hamrick Ave. in Houston, was issued a citation for driving with a suspended license after being involved in a two-car accident on Highway 17 at about 5 p.m.

Watson reportedly rear-ended a vehicle that was waiting at a stoplight to turn onto South Sam Houston Blvd. A computer check revealed that his license had been suspended for non-support.
