The City of Houston will open bids April 16 for several sewer project upgrades across the community.
The funding comes from stimulus funds remaining from a project that resulted in a new wastewater treatment plant near Brushy Creek. It was opened last year.
Planned are: An upgraded sewer lift station at Hamrick Avenue and replacement of a forced sewer line from Hamrick to near the school district, a new line from near Houston Walmart Supercenter to the town’s west lift station and work at the city’s new North Industrial Park.
