Last day to register for April election is Wednesday

The last day to register to vote for the April 3 municipal election is Wednesday, says County Clerk Don Troutman.

Voters who have moved and have not notified the clerk’s office should fill out the information on the back of their voter card and mail it to his office. If a voter has had a name change, it is necessary to re-register to vote.

Locations where registration can be completed are: county clerk’s office, Texas County Division of Family Support and local license bureaus.

Troutman says correct voter registration will make the process easier on election day.
