The following are other matters dealt with last week by the sheriff’s department:
April 16
––A Licking woman called at about 8:30 p.m. and reported seeing a light shining around on her Cameron Drive property.
An investigating officer was unable to locate anyone.
––A man came to the TCSD office and reported that a window in his vehicle had been broken while it was parked at Dogs Bluff river access and that several prescription drugs had been stolen.
––An officer reported April 11 he had investigated a report of a burglary at a Walnut Grove Drive residence at Houston.
The 52-year-old woman who lives there stated numerous tools, household goods and items of jewelry had been swiped, with a total value of $992.
There are no suspects.
April 18
––An officer responded at about 1:30 a.m. to a request to assist an ambulance at a Shipp Drive residence at Licking.
The officer determined that the woman who had called 911 was not at her home, but at a location in town at Licking. The woman was found to be intoxicated and refused any help.
April 19
––An officer reported that on April 17, he had responded to a report of a burglary at a Bear Claw road residence at Yukon.
The officer stated that the 45-year-old man who lives there told him that a bed headboard and hand tools had been stolen from his shop building. He said he suspected his 31-year-old former wife, and that he didn’t want to pursue charges. He only wanted the incident documented.
