The Houston golf team finished fifth among 20 teams Tuesday at the Seymour Tournament in Marshfield.
Freshman Ryan Bowlin shot a 12-over par 82 to finish fifth out of 97 competitors. Other individual scores for Houston were Jacob Hall (86), Dalton Hale (97), Lowell Tune (98) and Ty Albrecht (106).
Ava’s Tristan Haltom won medalist honors with a 1-over 71.
Ava won the team title by shooting a 316. The Bears were followed by Liberty (354), Fair Grove (360), Houston, Lutie (371), Rogersville (371), Willow Springs (371), Gainesville (376), Mountain Grove (378), Salem (378), Strafford (383), El Dorado Springs (391), Forsythe (402), Rogersville II (415), Marshfield (418), Hollister (419), Seymour (432) and Seymour II (530).
