Imogene “Jean” I. Hicks Crismon, 81, of Bellefoutaine Neighbors, died Monday, April 23, 2012, at Sunset Hills Health & Rehabilitation Center in St. Louis.

She was born May 27, 1930, in Licking, daughter of Arch and Lucy (Welch) Hicks.

She was a 1948 graduate of Licking High School. She taught more than 50 years in numerous school systems, including Cantrell Rural School, Licking Public School, Ferguson, Florissant and St. Louis schools. She later earned her master’s degree in education and also tutored for numerous years.

She enjoyed antiquing and traveling.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and three sisters.

Survivors include her husband, Bob; a daughter Missy; a sister, Nora Harris of Licking; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Services were Saturday, April 28, at Fox Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Boone Creek Cemetery.
