Several members of a Licking family face numerous charges after their arrest by county authorities.

Four members of a Licking area family each face multiple felony charges as a result of their roles in supplying two minor-age girls with drugs.

Texas County Prosecuting Attorney Mike Anderson filed charges against Patrick Dooley, 57, Crystal D. Dooley, 34, Jeffrey S. Dooley, 34, and Joshua D. Dooley, 32, who are all accused of involvement in the criminal activity at a Kimbel Road residence in early March.

The charges stem from the two underage girls being provided methamphetamine and prescription pills. During the Texas County Sheriff’s Department’s investigation of the case, the girls told an officer that they had smoked meth and snorted the pills.

Patrick Dooley is charged with two counts of distributing a controlled substance to a minor and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child. Jeffrey Dooley is charged with two counts of distributing a controlled substance to a minor, two counts of statutory rape and three counts of statutory sodomy. Crystal Dooley is charged with two counts of distributing a controlled substance to a minor, and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child. Joshua Dooley is charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

The four were arrested Tuesday and are being held in the Texas County Jail.

The sheriff’s department also nabbed another wanted man on Tuesday. Lt. Melissa Dunn said Daniel K. Labbee, 27, of Houston, was taken into custody after being found hiding in a closet at a friend’s residence near Highway E north of Houston.

Labbee was wanted for having fled twice from a deputy and a Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper who were trying to apprehend him at a Highway B residence in March and take him to the Houston Police Department to be cited for stealing. He is also being held at the county jail.

“We’ve been really busy this week,” Dunn said. “In a good way.”
