Mary Tucker

Mary Jane Tucker of Success, Mo., departed this life in West Plains, Mo., on Thursday, April 12, 2012, having reached the age of 51 years, six months and three days. Mary was born in Washington, Mo., on Oct. 9, 1960, daughter of Clifford Wayne Wall and Gladys Wall nee McDowell. As a young woman she was united in marriage and blessed to have four children.

Mary is survived by her mother, Gladys Smaley of Wentworth, Mo.; her two sons, Eric Willoughby and wife, Jennifer, of Success, Mo., and Robert Willoughby and wife, Megan, of Success; her two daughters, Angela Hawkins of Green Bay, Wisc., and Jessica Wetzel and husband, J.D., of Licking, Mo; two brothers, Robert Wall of Monett, Mo., and Gary Wall of Springfield, Mo.; one sister, Jeanette Mettlach and husband, Patrick, of Wentworth, Mo.; her former stepfather, Carl Nevills Sr. of Success, Mo.; two half-brothers, August Nevills of Springfield, Mo., and Marvin Nevills and companion, Phyllis Foster, of Licking, Mo.; one half-sister, Marney Jordan and husband, Winford, of Success; three grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends.

Mary was preceded in death by her father, Clifford Wall; three brothers, Steven, John and Randy Lee Wall; and by one half-brother, Carl Nevills, Jr.

Mary was a Christian of the Baptist faith, believing in the Lord as her Savior. She had a variety of interests and past times throughout her life, including crocheting and especially collecting various unicorn memorabilia. Mary also enjoyed watching television, in particular Wheel Of Fortune, talk shows and other favorites. Caring for her family was Mary’s top priority in life and she never tired of her job. Most of all, time spent with her grandchildren brought her great joy and she was anxiously awaiting the arrival of her fourth grandchild. The many precious memories they had created will be treasured by them all forever.

Funeral services were 2 p.m. Monday, April 16, 2012, at Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair with the Rev. Jim Watson officiating. Interment was in Prospect Cemetery in Lonedell, Mo. Memorials may be made to Paralyzed American Veterans.
