A Springdale, Ark., man received injuries early Thursday in a crash just east of Houston on Highway B.
Tpr. Terry Nelson of the Missouri State Highway Patrol said a westbound 1997 Ford Ranger driven by Travis J. Barker, 21, swerved to avoid another vehicle in his lane, traveled off the roadway and struck an embankment at about 3 a.m.
Barker, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by private vehicle to Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston.
The vehicle sustained moderate damage, Nelson said.
