The Houston Police Department on April 27 arrested Matthew F. Doyle, 34, of 130 Elm St. in Raymondville, for having an active Texas County warrant for failure to register as a sex offender.
An officer made the arrest at the state probation and parole office on Oak Hill Drive after a probation officer called to report that Doyle was there.
On April 28, police issued Jacob D. Heavener, 24, of 211 S. Grand Ave. in Houston, a citation for operating a Missouri registered vehicle with expired license plates after an officer observed expired tags on the red Pontiac Grand Am Heavenver was driving on U.S. 63 at about 7:30 p.m.
