Raymond Lee Rose, 65, died Saturday, April 21, 2012, at Mountain View Nursing Home.

He was born Nov. 15, 1946, in West Eminence, son of Raymond Theodore and Ruby Florence Gale Rose.

Raymond liked to sit outdoors on the front porch for hours on sunny days and watch the birds. He loved listening to country music, watching cartoons, comedies, westerns and NASCAR racing. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and many extended family members.

Survivors include five sisters, Carol Ann Thomas, Zelda Arlene Pruitt and Karen Sue Moerbe of Eminence, Linda Bernadine Harris of Hartshorn and Verna May Wilcox of Houston; three brothers, Roger Theodore Rose of Warrensburg, Pa., and Ronald Ray Rose and Randy Ronnie Rose of Eminence;23 nieces and nephews; 21 great-nieces and great-nephews; and a host of cousins and other family members.

Services were Wednesday, April 25, at Bradford Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gary Steelman officiating. Burial was in Antioch Cemetery.
