Wilma Marie Koehler, 71, died Tuesday, April 10, 2012, at her home in Success.
She was born July 12, 1940, in Turley, daughter of George J. and Vernita Gearn Richards. She and Robert Koehler were married Dec. 1, 1996.
She grew up in the Roby and Success areas.
She worked at Fort Leonard Wood in civil service in the laundry as a supervisor. After she retired from civil service, she began to raise dogs and began Robymo Kennels. She raised a variety of dogs and spent many hours taking care of them. She loved all types of animals.
She was a member of the Roby Assembly of God Church. She and her husband enjoyed working in the kennel, raising animals, fishing and hunting.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Charles Gearn; and a sister, Barbara Thomston.
Survivors include her husband, Robert of the home; Debi Watts of Carthage; and two half-sisters, Bonnie and Connie.
Services are 11 a.m. Friday, April 13, at Assembly of God Church with Brother Bob Troutt officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. Visitation is 10 a.m. Friday, April 13, at the church. Friends may pay their respects from noon until 5 p.m. Thursday, April 12, at Evans Funeral Home.
