Benjamin Franklin Trout, 79, died Thursday, May 3, 2012, at his home.
He was born Sept. 16, 1932, in Kinderpost, son of Lee and Artie Snow Trout. He and Velma McIntyre Trout were married Sept. 3, 1955 in Sherrill.
He gave his life to the Lord in 1954 at the Licking Assembly of God.
He worked most of his adult life as a laborer at and around Fort Leonard Wood. He retired from Sherrill Township after 12 years of service. He enjoyed gigging, camping, farming and anything outdoors.
He loved spending time with his loved ones.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Charles Trout; and a sister, Gertie Mathis.
Survivors include his wife, Velma of Licking; a daughter, Janie Trout of Licking; two sons, Kenny Trout of Licking and Roger Trout of Bay; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and extended family members.
Memorial services were Sunday, May 6, at Fox Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Kenny Lewis officiating.
