A Licking teen was injured Saturday, June 2, in a crash in Crawford County.

Cabool residents — including two children — were injured Friday after a truck struck a trailer-truck unit head-on in Audrain County.

Cpl. B.A. McLaughlin of the Missouri State Highway Patrol said an eastbound Dodge truck driven by Chester A. Florea, 47, of Willow Springs, crossed the centerline and struck a westbound 2003 Freightliner operated by Gary D. Stowers, 72, of Centralia.

Florea had serious injuries and was flown to University Hospital in Columbia.

His daughter, Kristen M. Berry, 24, was taken with moderate injuries to Audrain Medical Center at Mexico. Her two children, Keshav C. Berry, 4; and Serenity M. Foutes, 1, were also taken to the hospital in Mexico. Keshav had moderate injuries; his sister had minor injuries.

Florea’s vehicle was totaled after the U.S. 54 wreck, McLaughlin said.
