An Edgar Springs man sustained serious injuries Sunday morning in a crash north of Raymondville.

A Cabool woman was seriously hurt Tuesday night when she was ejected from a vehicle in Bollinger County, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.

Barbara A. Whitcomb, 22, was airlifted to St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau following the wreck on Highway 34 about two miles west of Grassy.

Cpl. J.L. McCullough of the patrol said a westbound 1997 Pontiac driven by Amber D. Hester, 24, of Scott City, ran off the roadway, overcorrected, ran off the left side of the highway and overturned, ejecting Whitcomb. Hester also had serious injuries and was transported by ambulance to St. Francis Medical Center. McCullough said neither was wearing a seat belt.

The vehicle was totaled, he said.
