Two persons were injured in a wreck Monday one mile south of Houston on U.S. 63.

Two Elk Creek teenagers were injured Monday morning when their vehicle was struck in the rear south of Houston on U.S. 63.

Tpr. Terry Nelson of the Missouri State Highway Patrol said a southbound 1994 Chevrolet driven by Noelle E. Hunt, 28, of West Plains, struck a 1988 Chevrolet driven by Austin H. Furr, 18.

Furr had moderate injuries; a passenger, Earlene H. Furr, 16, sustained minor injuries. Both were taken to Texas County Memorial Hospital. Hunt was to seek her own treatment.

Everyone was wearing a seat belt, Nelson said.
