Houston Mayor Don Tottingham made several appointments Monday during a meeting of the Houston City Council.
They are: city administrator, Larry Sutton; city clerk, Tonya Foster; city attorney, Brad Eidson; police chief, Jim McNiell; municipal judge, John Garrabrant; fire chief, Don Rust; city treasurer, Bruce Wilson; and emergency management director, Arthur Thomas.
Barb Head was appointed to a five-year term on the Industrial Development Authority of Houston board. She replaces Brad Eidson.
Missy Gayer, Rita Ruckert, Scott Gettys and Jeremy Dillon, alternate, were appointed to the Houston Park Board for a three-year term. They join Gayla Bratton, Bobby Elmore, Brent Hall, Butch Castleman, Rhonda Neal and John Jordan.
The four-year terms of Charles Shea and Joe Stockard on the Houston Planning and Zoning commission will now expire in 2016.
Bonnie McElroy’s five-year term on the board of adjustment will expire in 2017.
