Lora Lucille Beebe, age 95, daughter of Jasper and Alberta (Lindsey) Clark, was born June 8, 1916, in East Prairie, Mo. She passed away May 9, 2012, in Houston, Mo.
Lucille was married to Benjamin “Doc” Beebe, and to this union five children were born.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son, Billy Beebe; two brothers, William and Floyd Clark; and one sister, Wilma (Clark) Smith.
She is survived by three sons, Berley Beebe and wife, Johnette, of LaSalle, Ill., Junior of Ladd, Ill., and Robert and wife, Sally, of Dupuyer, Mont.; one daughter, Sheila Schafer and husband, Robert, of Houston, Mo.; one brother, Russell Clark of Camp Verdi, Ariz.; three sisters, Shelby Warren of Sikeston, Mo., Mondale Becker of Washington, Ill., and Aline Duffel of Spring Valley, Ill.; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives and friends.
Lucille enjoyed being outside working with her flowers. Her greatest joy, however, was her grandkids. She loved being a Grandmother and showed it by her love and care for them. She also loved her cat, Baby.
Lucille will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Services were 11 a.m. Monday, May 14, 2012, at Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor David Barbee and Pastor Bruce Allen officiating. Pallbearers were Bill Schafer, Lee Schafer, Gary Beebe, Kevin Beebe, Wesley Beebe, Ben Beebe and Bruce Allen. Burial was in Pine Lawn Cemetery under the direction of Evans Funeral Home.
