Three river cleanup events are planned for June in the region.

The 14th annual Jacks Fork River cleanup is Saturday, June 2. Registration is 8-9 a.m. A barbecue supper will be served at 6:30 p.m. at the Alley Spring picnic area. The rain date is June 9. For more information, contact Ted Haviland at 417-932-4363 or tednpat@gotrain.org. 


The sixth annual upper Current River cleanup and kayak giveaway is Saturday, June 16. Registration is 8-9 a.m. at Cedar Grove, Akers or Pulltite. A barbecue supper will be served at 6:30 p.m. at

The Upper Big Piney River cleanup is Saturday, June 23. Registration begins at 8 a.m. at the Boiling Springs access on the Big Piney 
River at the end of Highway BB southwest of Licking. A cookout begins at 3 p.m.
