A local church will provide a free sports camp next month for area children.
The 4Twelve youth of First Baptist Church in Houston will host the event from 9 a.m. until noon July 16-19 at the church. Each day will consist of two sessions, snacks and a devotion.
The sports camp is open to boys and girls entering kindergarten through the fifth grade.
Participating children will learn the fundamentals of two sports of their choice –– soccer, basketball, volleyball, cheerleading and wrestling –– under the direction of Christian adults and youth. There will also be a Bible-based devotion each day from one of the youth members.

The sports camp is July 16-20 and open to boys and girls in grades K-5. Sessions are 9 a.m. until noon each day. There is no cost.
