A Cabool man who is free on charges of burning a cat was arrested late Sunday on a warrant from Mountain Grove, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
Dalton C. Harrison, 17, was arrested on a misdemeanor warrant for littering from the Mountain Grove Police Department. He was taken to the Texas County Jail, according to a report.
Harrison was certified as an adult in the cat case, and it is pending in Howell County on a change of venue.
Tinkerbell, the cat, died in July 2011 after she was unable to fight off massive infection resulting from her burn injuries and subsequent extensive skin loss.
A co-defender in the cat case, Collin J. Beesler, entered a guilty plea earlier and will be sentenced July 5.
