Falus Palmer Jr., 91 of Cabool, died Wednesday, May 30, 2012, at the Texas County Memorial Hospital.
He was born Dec. 15, 1920, in Cabool, son of Falus Sr. and Myrtle O’Hearn Palmer. He and Clematis “Jo” Almond were married Aug. 18, 1946.
He was known as “Junior” to many. He worked many years as an estate and livestock auctioneer. He spent most of his time buying and selling cattle.
He loved his great-grandsons. He took them in drives in the truck, to the creek or to see the cows.
He was active in the United Methodist Church of Cabool since 1955.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife of 65 years, Jo.
Survivors include a son, Ron Palmer; a great-granddaughter; and two great-grandsons.
Services were Tuesday, June 5, at Cabool United Methodist Church with Dr. Michael Lawton officiating. Burial was in the Cabool Cemetery under the direction of Elliott-Gentry-Carder Funeral Home.
