The Houston Imagination Library provides books to Houston School District homes with children ages one month to five years.

A reading program that places books in the hands of children ages one month to age 5 is seeking donations for the project.

The Houston Imagination Library mails a book monthly to those enrolled in the Houston School District, and the effort is overseen by the Community Betterment and Arts Council of Houston.

The program’s roots began with entertainer Dolly Parton and her foundation.
