A Houston tractor-trailer driver escaped injury in a crash early Wednesday in Cuba, Mo.
Tpr. Clint Capps said a westbound 2010 Dodge Ram pickup driven by Daniel S. Meredith, 24, of Florissant, struck the big rig in the rear. It was driven by Craig A. Stewart, 49.
Meredith’s vehicle struck the towed unit in the rear, ran off the left side of I-44 and struck a cable barrier.
Meredith, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken with minor injuries to Missouri Baptist Hospital in Sullivan. His truck was totaled, Capps said.
Stewart’s tractor-trailer had moderate damage.
