The Missouri Department of Revenue reports improvement in sales tax collections in the county.
The tally from three, half-cent sales taxes totaled about $91,700 each. That’s up about $15,100 from the same monthly period a year ago.
For the year, about $386,000 has been collected on each. That’s down just slightly from 2011.
The monies go toward debt retirement for the county justice center, maintenance and county operations.
