Update: Raymondville’s fire department were called to the scene at about 8:45 a.m. Sunday after a rekindle was reported.
Three fire departments responded early Friday to a structure fire in Raymondville.
The residence on Elm Street was a total loss, but the fire departments were able to save part of the structure that contained valuable documents, and some items were salvageable from the home, firemen said.
Raymondville, Houston city and Licking fire departments responded.
The homeowner was not immediate known.
