Two persons were injured late Sunday morning when a vehicle was struck in the side by a deer.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said an eastbound 2002 Saturn SL2 driven by Pamela L. Hurst, 52, of Dexter, was struck by the animal at U.S. 60 and Business 60 near the west side of Cabool.
Two passengers sustained injuries, said Tpr. S.J. Crewse: Leonard J. Ramsey, 31, was treated and released by an ambulance crew; and Rachel L. Woods, 27, was transported to Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston. Both are from Dexter.
The vehicle sustained minor damage, Crewse said.
