Wayne “Pete” L. Breeden, 79, died Saturday, June 2, 2012, at Liberty Village in Maryville, Ill.
He was born May 24, 1933, son of Duke and Dollie Smith Breeden. He married Polly Culpepper Cardwell.
He worked for Granite Steel before retiring.
He enjoyed riding horses, fishing and gigging.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; a daughter, Deborah Lynn Creech; two sisters, Mary Belle Breeden and Vida Keeney; and four brothers, Howard Breeden, Cecil Breeden, Bill Breeden and Jack Breeden.
Survivors include a sister, Lois Storm of Licking; a niece; three nephews; and numerous other family members.
Services are 10 a.m. Thursday, June 7, at Fox Funeral Home Chapel with Larry Tubbs officiating. Burial will be in Smith Cemetery near Hartshorn.
