Alan Edward “Eddie” Worlow, 62, died Friday, July 13, 2012, at Texas County Memorial Hospital.
He was born Aug. 24, 1949, in Akron, Ohio, son of Arthur and Alta Upton Worlow. He and Debbie Duncan were married Feb. 10, 2009, in Eureka Springs, Ark.
He grew up in the Raymondville area and graduated from Licking High School. He fought in the Vietnam War.
He retired from General Motors in Wentzville in the mid-1990s. After retiring, he returned to Licking and became owner of the Outback Bar and Grill. He ran the business until his death.
He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, hunting and fishing. He loved spending time and working at the lake he built in Raymondville where he grew up.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Peggy Worlow.
Survivors include his wife, Debbie; two brothers, Al Worlow of Australia and Danny Worlow of Winnsboro, La.; two children, Tammy Botindari and Eric Worlow of Fenton; a special grand-niece, Delilah James of Houston; and several other family members and friends.
Memorial services were Sunday, July 15, at Fox Funeral Home Chapel with Grant Heithold officiating.
