Candidates seeking the 142nd District House seat were required to file campaign finance reports before Monday’s deadline passed.
The committee for Ted Sheppard of Cabool reported total receipts of $1,000, a loan from the candidate. Expenditures for the election total $6,944. He had $55.94 on hand.
Robert Ross’ committee showed $1,150 receipts this period and $12,908 total revenue. Expenditures for the period were $2,450. Total expenditures for the campaign were $8,859. Money on hand totaled about $3,500 for the Eunice candidate.
Don Bordwell of Evening Shade showed receipts of $8,600 — of which $6,500 was a signle contribution Friday from Forest Hill Properties of Washington, Mo. Expenditures total $7,721. He showed $17,216 on hand.
Chris Purvis of Houston showed receipts of $3,000. Expenditures totaled $2,888. Total expenditures are $9,515. He had $2,068 on hand.
The reports were due eight days before the Primary Election.
