City of Houston officials have announced that the Missouri Department of Natural Resources will conduct a stream survey Wednesday in Brushy Creek that will involve putting red dye in the water.
The idea is to determine how long the water takes to reach the Big Piney River.
The dye will be placed in the creek at about 11 a.m., Wednesday. Authorities indicate the red tint may remain visible for as long as a couple of days.
