A Cabool man was arrested Saturday night after leading troopers on a chase that ended on Highway MM, authorities said.
Jimmy A. Coddington, 48, led officers on the pursuit and later on a foot chase.
Coddington was arrested on charges of resisting arrest by fleeing, speeding (93 miles per hour in a 65 miles per hour zone), careless and imprudent driving, failure to register a motor vehicle and having no proof of insurance.
He was taken to the Texas County Jail and held pending the filing of any formal charges.
Coddington has a lengthy criminal history, court records show. He has drug charges pending related from a September 2011 arrest by the patrol. Handled by a special prosecutor, the matter is set for trial for Sept. 20, according to court records.
