The following are other matters recently dealt with by Houston police:
June 30
––Dustin Odom, 26, of 508 Ozark St. in Houston, was arrested for having an active Texas County warrant for third-degree domestic assault. An officer made the arrest at about midnight at Odom’s residence. He was taken to the Texas County Jail where he was unable to post $5,000 bond.
July 1
––Bennie L. Thompson, 18, of 5395 Big Creek Road at Yukon, was issued a citation for minor in possession of alcohol by consumption.
An officer wrote the ticket at about 1:15 a.m. after observing a dog running loose on Augusta Street near Hawthorne Street. The officer made contact with two people at the location, one of whom was Thompson. While speaking with him, the officer smelled alcohol and conducted field tests.
July 11
––Brandon M. Ingram, 23, of 113 Hickory St. in Houston, was issued a citation for peace disturbance following an incident at a U.S. 63 cellular phone store.
A woman working at the store told an investigating officer that Ingram – her former boyfriend – had been arguing with her on the phone for a long time and then came in the store and began yelling at her.
She stated that Ingram only left because she called the police. An officer located him at the Eagles Club and issued the ticket.
July 13
––Timothy E. Sullins, 32, of 289 Highway B at Raymondville, was issued a citation for stealing under $500 after being caught attempting to shoplift a car battery from Walmart at about 1:45 p.m.
A computer check on Sullins revealed he also had an active Wright County warrant for driving while revoked. He was taken to the Texas County Jail.
July 14
––Nekota S. Neal, 18, of Plato, was issued a citation for minor in possession of alcohol by consumption.
An officer wrote the citation at about 1:50 a.m. after observing Neal and another teenager walking on Walnut Street. The officer determined that the two appeared to be under 17 years old and made contact with them to inform them of city curfew for minors.
The officer smelled alcohol, and breath tests were administered.
