A Raymondville native died early Thursday morning in a head-on collision in Arkansas.
The Arkansas State Police said Brandon Kyle Wilson, 18, of Ozark, Ark., was killed shortly before 6 a.m. on Highway 96 East near Cecil, Ark. Wilson’s westbound Ford drifted into oncoming traffic and collided with an eastbound Dodge.
Two passengers in the car struck by Wilson’s vehicle were taken to a local hospital.
Authorities said Wilson was not wearing a safety device. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Services are 2 p.m. Saturday at The Old Country Church in Ozark, Ark. under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home.
