A Rolla man with ties to Texas County was killed July 18 in a motorcycle crash on I-44 about two miles west of St. James, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
Tpr. Jonathon Fariole said a westbound 2005 Honda motorcycle operated by Kevin W. Keeney, 46, ran off the left side of the roadway and struck a cable median barrier. He was ejected and the motorcycle came to rest in the roadway, Fariole said.
Mr. Keeney, who was wearing a helmet, was pronounced dead at the scene.
He is the nephew of Judge John Beeler, and Mr. Keeney’s mother, Linda, is a graduate of HHS.
