A Cabool child sustained minor injuries Friday morning in a crash on Highway NN north of Ozark.
Tpr. Mike Adams of the Missouri State Highway Patrol said a 2001 Lexus driven by Sandra D. Clopton, 47, was traveling eastbound on a county road when it attempted to cross Highway NN and pulled into the path of a southbound 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer operated by Terri L. Wood, 39, of Cabool. A passenger, Audra L. Wood, 12, received minor injuries but was not transported.
Adams said Clopton, who was on a cell phone at the time of the accident, was taken with minor injuries to Mercy Hospital.
The trooper said everyone was wearing a seatbelt.
