In separate but similar incidents on Aug. 23, Texas County Sheriff’s Department officers attempting to serve arrest warrants at two residences, ended up finding marijuana and smoking devices and subsequently issued citations to two Raymondville residents.
While serving a warrant at the home of Thomas R. McGuire Jr., 49, of 10504 Sackett Road in Raymondville, an officer found pot and smoking apparatus and cited McGuire for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
On the same day, an officer serving a warrant at a Summersville man’s home found pot and paraphernalia during a search by consent, and cited Erica S. L. Wyble, 20, of 11650 Highway 32 at Roby, on the same charges.
