Houston’s fire department was called at about 1:50 a.m. Wednesday after reports that flames were seen from a garage on West Steffens St. Firemen were on the scene for about three hours.
The empty house is owned by the Fiquet family. A representative of the state fire marshal’s office was called to the scene.
