A Houston man sustained serious injuries Wednesday in a two-vehicle accident two miles east of Houston on Brushy Creek Road.
Cpl. Scott Nelson of the Missouri State Highway Patrol said a westbound 1996 Chevrolet operated by Jonathan E. Stenger, 20, of Mountain Grove, crossed the centerline and struck an eastbound 2000 Infiniti operated by Paul J. Foster, 89, of Houston, in the left rear, causing it to lose control. Nelson said the Foster vehicle skidded off the left side of the roadway, striking an embankment and a telephone pole.Â
Foster was taken by ambulance to Texas County Memorial Hospital.Â
Foster’s vehicle was totaled, Nelson said.Â
