The 2012 Miss Texas County Scholarship Pageant will be held Oct. 20 inside the community building at the Houston Area Chamber of Commerce Fairgrounds.
The pageant is open and an official preliminary to the Miss Missouri/Miss America pageant. Contestants in the afternoon show will compete for the titles of tiny, little, petite and pre-teen. The evening show will be for the titles of Miss Texas County and Miss Texas County Outstanding Teen.
Age categories for the morning show are 3-12. Contestants will compete in private interview, onstage question, party dress and talent.
The divisions for the evening show are ages 13-24. Participants will compete in private interview, onstage question, evening wear, active wear/swimsuit and talent. Winners will advance to the Miss Missouri pageant held June 2013 in Mexico, Mo.
