Robert Lee Williams, 36, son of Robert C. and Jessie Sarah (Johnson) Williams, was born Dec. 17 1975, in Mountain Grove, Mo. He passed away on Aug. 27, 2012, in Springfield, Mo.
He graduated with his class of 1994 from Houston High School.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Williams; grandparents, Robert and Ina Williams of Houston, Mo., and Lee and Myrtle Johnson of Cabool, Mo.
He was the loving father to Alleson Dawn Williams and Robert Christopher Williams of the home, who survive him. He is also survived by his mother, Jessie Williams; one brother, Joe Williams of Houston, Mo.; two sisters, Dawn Williams of Houston, Mo., and Amanda Williams Hoover and husband, Ken, of Nixa, Mo.; an uncle, Alvy Williams and wife, Dianne, of Houston, Mo.; nephews, Tyler Ice, Michael Stanton, Zac Williams, Quinton Foster, Trae Foster, Bailey Williams and Clayton Williams. He also leaves his fiancé, Billie Jo Springer, who has been continually by his side and his beloved dog, Twitch.
Robert, who was known as “Peanut” to all his friends, worked many years at O.K. Tire. He never met a stranger and made many, many friends wherever he went.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, four wheeling and playing Xbox and PlayStation 2 games with his children. He loved his family very much and any time spent with them was very special.
He will be missed by all those who knew him and loved him.
Services were 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 31, at Evans Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John Wisdom officiating. Burial was in Pine Lawn Cemetery. Pallbearers were Myron Downey, Derick Baldwin, Tim Williams, T.J. McConnaughay, Jason Williams and Damon Foster. Honorary pallbearer was Joe Williams.
