Two Cabool residents sustained moderate injuries Sunday night in a Highway M crash north of their hometown.
Sgt. Jeff Kinder of the Missouri State Highway Patrol said a southbound 1975 Dodge truck driven by Russell D. Johnson, 56, of Cabool, lost its front driver’s side wheel, ran off the left side of the road four miles north of Cabool, struck an embankment and overturned.
Johnson and a passenger, Brenda M. Lau, 47, were taken by ambulance to Ozarks Medical Center at West Plains.
The truck was totaled, and neither person was wearing a seat belt, Kinder said.
