A man from Licking sustained injuries Sunday night when his vehicle ran off the road north of Licking, overturned and struck a fence.
Tpr. P.R. Wells said Michael A. Wilder, 21, the driver of the southbound 2005 Dodge Neon, sustained minor injuries and refused treatment. The mishap occurred on Shafer Road about three miles north of Licking.
Wilder was arrested on charges of DWI, prior offender, and careless and imprudent driving. He was taken to the Texas County Jail and held for 12 hours, according to a report.
Wilder’s vehicle had extensive damage; he was wearing a seat belt, Wells said.
