Carl Henry Amburn, 76, died Thursday, Aug. 30, 2012, in Springfield.
He was born Sept. 10, 1935.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Agnes Gaynell Amburn.
Survivors include seven children, Maurice of Tampa, Fla., Terry of St. Louis, Gloria of Columbus, Ohio, Glen of Dawsonville, Ga., Tammy of Charleston, S.C., and Lee and Carl Jr. of Raymondville.
Services were Monday, Sept. 3, at Fox Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Joshua Hartley officiating. Burial was in Boone Creek Cemetery.
